GUIDE FOR JOB SEEKERS What Filipino remote workers earn in 2026: rates by role Typical monthly and hourly pay for eight common remote roles, from entry level to senior. Plus how to set your own rate and talk about pay with confidence. Know your market before you apply Many Filipino remote workers set their rate by guessing. Some ask too little and get stuck there. Others ask too much and get no replies. A good rate starts with knowing what employers usually pay for your role and level. This guide shows typical ranges for eight common remote roles. Use them as a starting point, not a rule. Your own rate depends on your skills, your results and the job. Rates by role Each line shows full-time pay from entry level to senior, in pesos a month, and the usual hourly rate in US dollars. These are typical ranges from job-board data, not guarantees. Senior workers with a strong portfolio can earn more than the top of the range. • General VA: ₱19,000–₱76,000 a month, about $3–$9 an hour • Customer support: ₱25,000–₱82,000 a month, about $3–$9 an hour • E-commerce/Amazon VA: ₱22,000–₱101,000 a month, about $3.50–$10 an hour • Graphic designer: ₱22,000–₱113,000 a month, about $4–$11 an hour • Video editor: ₱22,000–₱101,000 a month, about $3–$11 an hour • Web developer: ₱33,000–₱139,000 a month, about $4.60–$12 an hour • Writer: ₱22,000–₱101,000 a month, about $3.40–$10 an hour • Bookkeeper: ₱25,000–₱107,000 a month, about $3.30–$12 an hour Where these numbers come from We combined two salary guides that cover all eight roles. The OnlineJobs.ph salary guide (updated for 2025) is built from that job board's own data. The WorkBase PH remote worker salary guide was updated in September 2026. We checked each role against at least one more source, read in October 2026: the HireTalent.ph and VirtualStaff.ph pay guides, and Indeed Philippines for virtual assistants. Peso amounts use about ₱63 per US$1, the rate in October 2026, rounded to the nearest ₱1,000. Hourly rates are for part-time or freelance work. They are often higher than a full-time salary divided by hours, because the work is less steady. Most of these sources are companies that help employers hire. No independent salary survey exists yet. What moves your rate • Skills: specialist work pays more than general tasks. Amazon PPC, bookkeeping software or a coding framework can lift you above the general VA range. • Portfolio: real samples and results make it easier for an employer to say yes to a higher number. • English: clear written and spoken English matters most in customer support and writing roles. • Shift: the PH night shift (US hours) often pays more. Fewer people want it, and the employer gets live cover during their own working day. • Full-time or part-time: full-time gives you a steady monthly salary. Part-time and project work usually pays a higher hourly rate, but the hours can change. • Tools: knowing the tools an employer already uses, such as Shopify, QuickBooks, Canva or Premiere Pro, saves them training time. How to set your rate and talk about pay Start with research. Find your role above, then read real job posts for the same work. Next, pick a range, not one number. Put the lowest rate you would accept at the bottom and your target near the top. When an employer asks, share your range and explain what you bring. Once you agree, write it down: the amount, the currency, and whether it is hourly or monthly. Agree the pay method too, such as Wise, Payoneer, PayPal, GCash or a bank transfer. Then agree the pay schedule, such as weekly, twice a month or monthly. Ask who covers the transfer fees. Never pay a fee to get a job, and be careful with long unpaid test tasks. How AAA Talents helps Every job on AAA Talents shows the salary in ₱ or $, the shift, the pay method and the pay schedule. You see the pay before you apply, so you don't waste time on jobs that pay too little. You can filter jobs by salary and by shift, including the PH night shift (US hours). Creating a profile and applying is free for workers. There are no fees and no commission. Quick checklist • Find your role and level in the rates above • Read five to ten real job posts for the same work • Set a range with your lowest rate and your target rate • Update your portfolio with your best recent work • Agree the amount, currency, pay method and schedule in writing • Never pay a fee to get or keep a job This guide is general information.
